Teleport, Southeast Asia’s leading integrated logistics provider, invites applications for a Logistics Planner based in Selangor, Malaysia. You will help optimize cargo load distribution, coordinate with Ground Operations and Commercial teams, and drive proactive improvements across planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 1–3 years in air cargo planning or related logistics roles.
• Knowledge of air cargo capacity, space allocation and flight load planning.
• Experience handling operational disruptions and quick recovery planning.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and air cargo tools.
• Strong communication between Ground Operations and Commercial teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of offloads or delays and develop recovery solutions.
• Coordinate with Ground Operations and Commercial teams to ensure planning accuracy.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• Lead Cargo Load Optimization: Independently manage the distribution of cargo bookings across the network to maximize capacity utilization and minimize wasted space.
• Resolve Operational Disruptions: Identify root causes of offloads or delays and develop practical recovery solutions to maintain delivery reliability.
• Manage Stakeholder Coordination: Align with Ground Operations and Commercial teams to ensure planning accuracy and adapt communication styles to resolve cross-functional bottlenecks.
• Spearhead Process Assignments: Take ownership of specific planning projects or workflows, ensuring they are executed with limited supervision and high attention to detail.
• Propose Workflow Enhancements: Analyze routine operational issues and propose actionable improvements to planning tools or procedures to increase speed and efficiency.

Requirements

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Aviation Management, Business, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in air cargo planning, load optimization, or logistics operations.
• Basic understanding of air cargo capacity, space allocation, and flight load planning.
• Experience in handling operational disruptions, cargo offloads, and quick recovery planning.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic familiarity with air cargo management tools.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate smoothly between Ground Operations and Commercial teams.
• Good problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
