Job summary

SK Intellix Malaysia SDN BHD. is seeking an accounting professional to manage AP processes, prepare payment schedules, and maintain supplier data. You will also handle treasury tasks, bank reconciliations, and journal entries, supporting month-end and year-end closings.

The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Fresh graduates are welcome and audit experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Audit experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, staff claims and other payment documents.
• Prepare and monitor payment schedules for timely supplier payments.
• Maintain supplier master data; perform reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Handle treasury activities, bank reconciliations, journal entries and intercompany transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing with timely supporting schedules.
• Support AP processes by reviewing transactions and monitoring outstanding balances.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for management.

Job description

Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, staff claims, and other payment-related documents accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Prepare and monitor payment schedules to ensure timely payments to suppliers while maintaining strong working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Maintain accurate supplier master data, perform supplier statement reconciliations, and promptly investigate and resolve any discrepancies.

Handle daily accounting operations, including treasury activities, bank reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany transactions, and other general accounting duties.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and supporting schedules are prepared on a timely basis.

Support accounts payable (AP) processes by reviewing transactions, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Prepare financial reports, account analyses, and supporting documentation for management reporting and decision-making purposes.

Ensure proper filing, organization, and maintenance of accounting records, invoices, payment documents, and related supporting documents for audit and compliance purposes.

Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, auditors, and financial institutions on finance and accounting matters when required.

Assist in external audits, tax-related matters, and other finance projects or assignments as directed by the Finance Manager.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Audit experience will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
