Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Central Genting Region projects, overseeing all functions from project planning to delivery.

The ideal candidate has a civil/structural engineering degree, 12 years in property development, proven CONQUAS/QLASSIC standards, strong leadership, English communication, and stakeholder management, with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Building, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in property development.
• Strong track record in construction quality and project delivery, with CONQUAS/QLASSIC experience.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead and set up the Central | Genting Region operations, overseeing Project, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Admin, and other functions.
• Lead the full property development cycle, from project planning, design and construction to completion.
• Manage project planning, design coordination, tendering, construction progress, quality, cost and budget control.
• Oversee consultants, contractors and project teams, including tender evaluations and contract negotiations.
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants and contractors, and lead regular project/site meetings.
• Provide market insights and strategic input for business and budget planning.
• Identify and evaluate potential development sites and land banks.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess project viability and sales assumptions on potential projects.
• Pre-empt management on legal and commercial matters related to land transactions.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Building, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in property development.
• Strong track record in construction quality and project delivery, with experience in CONQUAS, QLASSIC or similar standards.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills; while staying focused on the big picture and be able to conceptualize both problems and solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build long‑term partnerships.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, drive decisions and lead change.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Remuneration

• Basic Salary: RM30,000 - RM50,000
