To support the collections function by monitoring outstanding accounts, following up on payments, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and coordinating with internal and external parties to achieve timely debt recovery and maintain accurate financial records.
Plan and coordinate with the team on follow-up actions for collections from tenants and owners.
Ensure long-outstanding debts are settled or appropriately managed.
Review and analyse payment patterns to identify abnormal trends and recommend improvement plans.
Monitor team task progress and ensure deadlines are met, particularly for month-end and year-end activities.
Ensure all outstanding debts are settled or properly addressed.
Measure and review overall collection performance on a monthly basis.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly e-Invoice submissions.
Ensure reminders and legal actions are executed in line with the in-house schedule and Company SOP.
Liaise with lawyers on specific cases and collaborate on solutions to enhance account recovery.
Identify issues related to outstanding cases and propose appropriate solutions.
Escalate difficult or high-risk cases with recommended actions to the superior.
Review and monitor ageing reports and outstanding accounts, highlighting risk accounts to the superior.
Ensure all unreconciled items identified in monthly bank reconciliations are resolved within the month.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including duplicated charges and unallocated payments.
Liaise with internal departments on accounting-related matters and resolve arising queries or issues.
Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all protected information assets in accordance with data protection requirements.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.
Diploma holders with relevant experience can be considered.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in credit control, accounts receivable, and/or collections.
Fresh graduates are also considered.
Accounting, audit, and tax knowledge.
Credit control and collection management.
Knowledge in QESH Management, HIRARC, ESH legal & other requirements and EHS practices are added advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
