Job summary

AmBank Group in Malaysia is seeking a Credit Processing Officer to assess applications by evaluating customer creditworthiness in line with credit policies and risk controls, with timely decision support for quality credit outcomes.

You will ensure timely processing of credit card and loan applications, maintain document accuracy, and perform income checks and CCRIS/CTOS reviews to recommend approvals or escalations within your delegated authority.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Business Admin, Banking or related field.
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in credit processing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of banking products and credit policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely turnaround of credit card and loan processing within agreed service standards.
• Maintain consistent quality service delivery within turnaround time (TAT).
• Process all applications in accordance with internal credit policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents as per the PO Checklist.
• Perform credit assessment by analysing income documents, CCRIS/CTOS reports and customer risk profile.
• Evaluate applicant creditworthiness and recommend approval, rejection or escalation based on delegated authority.
• Ensure daily KPI targets for application processing volume and turnaround time are met.
