Job summary

AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Analyst to drive operation improvements within Credit Assessment. You will translate business needs into practical system and process solutions, lead UAT and coordinate with IT, vendors and stakeholders to deliver timely results.

This role focuses on requirements gathering, BRD creation, testing, and driving digitalisation initiatives to enhance efficiency and user experience across the credit assessment function.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

• Prepare SOPs, user manuals, and training materials.

Business Analyst – Operation Improvement (Credit Assessment)

About the Role

We are looking for Business Analysts to join our Credit Assessment team and play a key role in driving process improvement, system enhancement and digital transformation initiatives.

You will work closely with business users, IT teams, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into practical system and process solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys requirements gathering, UAT, process improvement, problem-solving and project coordination.

What You’ll Do

Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and user experience.

Gather and translate business requirements into clear Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and solution proposals.

Lead and manage end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test scripts, test data, defect tracking, troubleshooting and sign-off.

Work closely with IT, vendors and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve system issues and ensure timely implementation.

Support system enhancements, workflow changes, credit policy changes and digitalisation initiatives.

Coordinate operational system requests, including system access (UAR), CCRIS (B2B) issues and application servicing (IR).

Identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions to improve operational effectiveness.

Prepare and maintain SOPs, user manuals, process documentation and training materials.

Conduct user briefings and training to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and process changes.

Support Credit Assessment and company-wide projects involving cross-functional collaboration and system/process enhancements.

Provide regular updates on project progress, operational issues, risks and improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Finance, Banking, Economics or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Operations Improvement, Process Improvement, UAT, System Enhancement or a similar role.

Strong experience in requirements gathering, BRD preparation, UAT and stakeholder management.

Experience working with IT teams and/or vendors on system enhancement and issue resolution.

Experience in financial services, banking, credit or lending operations will be an advantage.

For Senior Executive:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Finance, Banking, Economics or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Operations Improvement, Process Improvement, UAT, System Enhancement or a similar role.

Hands-on experience in UAT, test case preparation, requirements gathering and process improvement.

Experience in system/project coordination and working with IT teams or vendors.

Experience in financial services, banking, credit or lending operations will be an advantage.
