Job summary

DKSH Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Client Management to provide operational and commercial support for client integration and growth within the Consumer Goods Food Service division. You will coordinate across internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver excellence, accurate reporting, and high client satisfaction.

The role requires a degree in business management and 1–2 years in a similar role, with strong numeracy, MS Office proficiency, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in business management or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar client management or operations role.
• Basic understanding of clients' industry, business and products.
• Basic client management and communication skills with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
• Proven numeracy and quantitative analysis skills with ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity in cross-country/cross-cultural interactions.
• Fluency in the local language and ideally in English.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operational and commercial tasks to ensure client satisfaction.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and marketing plans.
• Coordinate with internal DKSH departments to resolve issues and complaints.
• Assist in client communications and business reviews.
• Produce documents for business communications and meetings.
• Coordinate planned activities across departments and business units.
• Liaise with clients on requirements and daily problems.

About the Role

The Executive, Client Management is responsible for providing operational and commercial support to ensure smooth client business integration and drive business growth within DKSH's Consumer Goods Food Service division in Malaysia. This role contributes to DKSH's success by coordinating effectively across internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver operational excellence, accurate reporting, and consistent client satisfaction.

What You Will Deliver

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources such as:-
  - Below cost release* report
  - Shipment tracking - K1 / K8 approvals*, Reduce tolerance / Shortfall (request to involve by shipping)
  - Stock reservation*
  - Sample requests
• Prepare business forecasts, reports and marketing plans to achieve overall objectives such as:
  - Monthly Wholesaler Bulletin update
  - Trade bulletin maintainance in SAP
  - Price list, Special price, Catalogue update.Market survey on new trend
• Coordinate with internal DKSH departments to ensure all operational issues/service complaints are resolved effectively and timely such as:
  - Write off - damage/ shortage tracking
  - OOS update
  - RWR
  - Clearance
  - Provision update
  - Halal index updates
  - Payment follow ups
  - MMDM - MCMF, MCC, MMD
• Take necessary actions to support clients' operational issues/service complaints
  - KHC - CM weekly update
  - KHC Claim portals
  - Monthly Business Review
  - Disc report
  - Sample report
• Prepare relevant documents for business communications and business review meetings
• Coordinate and communicate all planned activities to all operational departments and Business Units
• Liaise with clients on their requirements and daily problems encountered

What You Bring

• Minimum Degree in Business Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar client management or operations role
• Basic understanding of clients' industry, business, and products
• Basic client management and communication skills with a proactive and service-oriented approach
• Proven numeracy and quantitative analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in cross-country and cross-cultural interactions
• Fluency in the local language and, ideally, in English, both written and spoken
