Job summary

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

About The Role

The Manager, Client Management is responsible for managing client accounts to ensure smooth business integration and drive sustainable growth for DKSH's Consumer Goods clients in Malaysia. This role serves as the primary DKSH representative to client management teams, delivering operational excellence, resolving service issues, and building long‑term, collaborative client partnerships that generate measurable business results.

What You Will Deliver

• Manage departmental operating budgets and costs in line with annual allocations to ensure efficient and accountable use of resources
• Develop business and marketing plans in close coordination with clients to achieve overall business objectives and drive sustainable profitability
• Gather and report client operational results against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) defined in Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring performance transparency and accountability
• Identify and explore opportunities for new product introductions and product expansion, while managing the contract renewal process to protect and grow client relationships
• Take decisive and timely action to resolve clients' operational issues and service complaints, ensuring consistently high levels of client satisfaction
• Plan and manage regular business communications and business review meetings with clients' management teams to maintain strategic alignment and drive joint outcomes
• Act as the frontline DKSH representative with client management teams to facilitate timely resolution of ad hoc operational issues, escalating to senior management as appropriate and communicating all relevant matters effectively
• Manage and oversee team delivery of function goals, driving consistent execution and accountability against agreed targets
• Champion team learning and development in Client Management practices and DKSH values, while pursuing continuous self‑improvement to lead by example
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar client management role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
• Strong understanding of clients' industry, business, and products
• Strong client management and communication skills with a track record of building and sustaining productive client partnerships
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
• Strong analytical background and knowledge of statistical analysis methods
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in cross-country and cross-cultural interactions
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
