Job summary

Carsome is seeking an Executive, Branch Support Operations (Fleet) in Malaysia. You will report to the Assistant Team Leader and verify car condition against inspection reports while assisting customers with ownership transfers.

Key duties include vehicle handover, PDI, and coordinating inter-branch transfers. You will work closely with Logistics to facilitate movements, perform inspections, and ensure accurate vehicle records across branches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• A valid driving license with a clean record and willingness to travel.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively and think fast to resolve challenging situations.
• Familiarity with JPJ or Puspakom procedures is a plus.
• Diploma/degree in any discipline; automotive education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and inspect inbound/outbound vehicles; update records.
• Coordinate inter-branch vehicle transfers with Logistics and CMS; manage photoshoots for East Malaysia branches.
• Prepare vehicles for test drives and perform post-test drive touch-ups as needed.
• Ensure vehicle handovers from branches are received and facilitated smoothly.
• Maintain stock counts and update CarTracker and AppSheet records.
• Tag keys according to vehicle numbers for accurate tracking; arrange transport from branches to yards.

About You

You will be reporting to the Assistant Team Leader, where you will be expected to confirm car condition against inspection report and help customer with change of ownership.

Your Day-to-Day

Vehicle Handover & Inspection

• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
• Perform inbound and outbound inspections on all IC to IC transfer cars and update records accordingly.
• Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep
• Prepare vehicles for test drives, including post-test drive inspections and required touch-ups.
• Puspakom B5 / B7 re-inspection is conducted within the stipulated timeline to prevent expiry.
• Coordinate Car Wash or USP. Update AppSheet.
• Monthly stock counts to ensure vehicle inventory accuracy.
• Update CarTracker(C2B) before and after every collection to prevent discrepancies.
• Tag keys accurately based on vehicle number plates for easy tracking.
• Pre-collection preparation: Verify vehicle availability, park cars according to the Logistics team listing, and arrange transport from branches to the yard.
• Conduct PDI during dealer car collection from the yard.
• Transport cars from yard to branch for dealer pickup.
• Receive and facilitate car handovers from different branches.

Vehicle Transfer & Logistic Coordination

• Work closely with the Logistics team to facilitate inter-branch vehicle transfers.
• Self-collect and arrange Value Car photoshoops, especially for East Malaysia (EM) branches.
• CMS transfer store requests and manage inbound/outbound movements through TMS (Transport Management System).
• Loading/unloading vehicles onto trailers for inter-branch movement. Update CarRetailer App.

Your Know-How

• Qualification in SPM / Diploma / Degree (in any discipline).
• Preferably candidates possess some level of Automotive Education.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in the Automotive industry.
• A valid driving license with a clean record and willingness to travel.
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively and think fast to resolve challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team to support each other.
• A quality-first mentality in upholding CARSOME' s fleet quality standards.
• Familiarity with the JPJ or Puspakom’s procedure will be a plus point.
