Job summary

Base Maintenance Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage high volumes of invoices in Subang Jaya. The role requires matching invoices to POs and GRNs, coding to GL accounts and cost centers, and preparing payment batches for approval.

The position also involves applying correct GST/VAT/WHT codes, withholding tax where required, maintaining electronic AP records, handling vendor inquiries, and assisting with month-end accruals.

Qualifications

• Degree or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of AP experience.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices, ensure invoices are matched to POs and goods received notes.
• Code invoices to the correct general ledger account and cost center.
• Prepare and schedule payment batches for review.
• Apply GST/VAT/WHT codes correctly at posting.
• Withhold the correct tax amount on payments to vendors where legally required.
• File and maintain AP documentation electronically.
• Respond to inquiries regarding payment status.
• Assist with month-end AP accruals.
