The role involves liaising with vendors, meeting due dates, and supporting month-end close and audits. Based in Malaysia, the position offers exposure to end-to-end AP activities within a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Prepare and process payments (bank transfers, cheques, etc.).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accounts payable ledger and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor due dates to ensure timely payments and avoid penalties.
• Handle vendor inquiries and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Assist in month-end closing and accruals related to AP.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support audits by providing required AP documentation
