BC CONCEPT MAKERZ SDN. BHD. is seeking an Events & Operation Executive to join our Kota Damansara team. You will plans and execute wine and spirits events, ensuring flawless on-site delivery and client satisfaction across launches, tastings and activations.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with responsibility for budgeting, vendor coordination and post-event analysis. A dynamic, hospitality-focused background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute wine and spirits events, launches, tastings and activations from concept to completion.
• Manage event logistics: venue, vendors, equipment, and on-site coordination.

• Liaise with clients, brand reps and partners to deliver bespoke event solutions.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Events & Operation Executive (Wine & Spirits - Alcohol) to join our team in Kota Damansara, Selangor. This is a full-time position that sits at the heart of our operations, bridging the gap between creative event concepts and flawless execution. As Events & Operation Executive, you will be instrumental in ensuring that every event, promotion and activation we deliver meets our high standards of quality and professionalism. This role offers the opportunity to work with prestigious wine and spirits brands whilst developing your expertise in event management and operational excellence within a specialist industry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute wine and spirits events, product launches, tastings, promotional activities and brand activations from conception through to completion
• Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, equipment procurement and on-site coordination
• Develop and maintain detailed event timelines, budgets and operational checklists to ensure all activities are completed efficiently and within budget
• Liaise with clients, brand representatives and external partners to understand requirements and deliver bespoke event solutions
• Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to confirm venue suitability and identify any operational challenges
• Coordinate with catering teams, security personnel, technical staff and other vendors to ensure seamless event delivery
• Monitor and control event budgets, processing invoices and managing vendor payments
• Maintain comprehensive event documentation, records and post-event reports for analysis and future reference
• Assist in the development of event concepts, themes and creative approaches in collaboration with the marketing and creative teams
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve our service delivery
• Support the team with administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence and database management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within the hospitality, wine, spirits or luxury goods sectors
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with clients, vendors and internal team members
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges proactively
• Budget management experience and understanding of cost control principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with event management software or CRM systems
• Knowledge of the wine and spirits industry, including product types, regulations and consumer preferences (highly desirable)
• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends when events are scheduled
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to delivering solutions
• Physical capability to undertake standing and walking for extended periods during events
• A genuine passion for events and creating memorable experiences
• Certification or formal training in event management is advantageous but not essential
