Job summary

Globez Sdn Bhd is seeking an Exhibition Operations professional to manage end-to-end event activities, from setup to on-site support, while coordinating with contractors and internal teams to ensure flawless delivery. The role requires multi-language proficiency and willingness to travel, including overseas projects.

Ideal candidates have a background in Event Management or related fields and can work long hours, weekends, and public holidays when necessary, with a strong focus on meeting

Qualifications

• Education in Event Management, Marketing or Mass Communications or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English.
• Willing to travel and work outstation/overseas projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Exhibition Operations, including setup, dismantle and on-site support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute event plans.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices; suggest process improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal departments for smooth events.
• Source and purchase tools and props as needed.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor or management.

Job description

Manage all aspects of Exhibition Operations, including setup, dismantle and on-site support to ensure smooth operations during the show and provide further assistance to the clients.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand, develop Event plans, and ensure their successful execution.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Exhibition management and make recommendations for process improvements.

To coordinate with appointed contractors, suppliers and internal supporting departments to ensure smooth operations of the event.

Help to source and purchase tools and props when required.

Handle other ad-hoc matters from time to time assigned by superior or management.

Who are we looking for?

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Applicants must be willing to work in Fraser Business Park, KL City area.

Applicants must possess own transport and willing to travel outstation / overseas for projects.

At least 1 year of working experience in relevant industries.

Able to work long hours and during weekends or public holiday if needed.

Able to work under pressure in meeting deadline.

Self confident, positive thinking, persistent, target oriented, enthusiastic.

Competent in MS Office software: MS Office Word, MS Office Excel, MS Office Power Point.

Preferably young enthusiastic.

2 Full time positions available only.

Immediate availability preferred.
