Job summary

Red Nose is seeking a dedicated Training Specialist in Malaysia to coach promoters, brand ambassadors and event crews on grooming, hygiene and professional appearance.

You will conduct product training, develop structured processes, checklists and SOPs, and perform pre- and post-training assessments to ensure knowledge transfer and field effectiveness. Travel to activation sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing/Communications/Hospitality/Training/Business.
• 2-3 years in training, retail, FMCG, events or related roles.
• Good spoken and written English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and basic training material preparation.

Conduct product training for promoters, brand ambassadors and event crew.

Train promoters on proper grooming, personal hygiene and professional appearance.

Ensure strict hygiene practices are followed, particularly for food and beverage sampling activities.

3. Communication & Presentation

Conduct training confidently in good spoken and written English.

Demonstrate proper consumer engagement techniques, including greeting, product introduction, selling and closing.

4. Training Process & Compliance

Develop and follow structured training processes, checklists and SOPs.

Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to ensure knowledge retention.

5. Field Performance & Quality Control

Conduct occasional field visits to assess promoter performance.

Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance.

Requirements

• - Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Training, Business or related field.
• - Preferably 2-3 years of experience in training, retail, FMCG, events, brand activation, hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• - Good command of spoken and written English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• - Well-groomed with high personal hygiene standards.
• - Organised, disciplined and process-driven.
• - Able to manage groups of promoters with different personalities and experience levels.
• - Comfortable giving constructive feedback and correcting poor performance.
• - Proficient in PowerPoint and basic training material preparation.
• - Willing to travel to activation/event locations when required.
