JV GLOBAL EVENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Event Planner/Trade Marketing Exec to plan and execute diverse events in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on on-site coordination, data-driven insights, and client-facing presentations to drive ROI.

You will gather performance data, build dashboards, and translate insights into trade marketing strategies, while working with the operations team to meet client KPIs. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in event planning or a related role.
• Strong project management with ability to multi-task under deadlines.
• Proficient data analysis using Excel, Power BI, Tableau or Google Data Studio.
• Solid presentation skills using PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva.
• Ability to work weekends when required and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

About the role

JV GLOBAL EVENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Event Planner/Trade Marketing Exec to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of our diverse range of events, sampling, and exhibitions.

What you'll be doing

Assist in execute project campaigns, including pre-event, on-ground, and post-event phases.

Ensure basic operational knowledge of event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site requirements.

Collaborate closely with the operations team to align execution with client objectives.

Collect, clean, and analyze event performance data (attendance, engagement, sales uplift, ROI).

Build dashboards and reports to track campaign effectiveness.

Identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities from event data.

Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.

Prepare clear, structured presentations for clients showcasing event outcomes and data insights. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for trade marketing strategies.

Present findings confidently to clients and stakeholders.

Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure all ongoing projects meet client KPIs and maintain high-quality standards.

What we're looking for

Proven experience (at least 1 year) in event planning, project coordination, or a similar role (preferably in a promoter agency or event environment).

Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines

Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).

Strong knowledge of presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva).

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.

Experience working with FMCG, tech, or lifestyle brands in event activationisaplus.

Able to work during weekend (off day on weekdays)
