Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.

• Experience with FMCG/tech/lifestyle brands in event activation is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends (weekend work, weekday off).

About the role

JV GLOBAL EVENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Trade Marketing/Data Analyts (Event Planning) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of our diverse range of events, sampling, and exhibitions.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in executing project campaigns, including pre-event, on-ground, and post-event phases.
• Ensure basic operational knowledge of event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to align execution with client objectives.
• Collect, clean, and analyze event performance data (attendance, engagement, sales uplift, ROI).
• Build dashboards and reports to track campaign effectiveness.
• Identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities from event data.
• Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
• Prepare clear, structured presentations for clients showcasing event outcomes and data insights. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for trade marketing strategies.
• Present findings confidently to clients and stakeholders.
• Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all ongoing projects meet client KPIs and maintain high-quality standards.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience (at least 1 year) in event planning, project coordination, or a similar role (preferably in a promoter agency or event environment).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).
• Strong knowledge of presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
• Experience working with FMCG, tech, or lifestyle brands in event activationisaplus.
• Able to work during weekend (off day on weekdays).
