Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive events professional to support the planning and execution of trade marketing events, roadshows, and brand activations across retail channels. You will coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, and Operations, liaising with vendors for quotations, production, and on-site setup.
The role requires strong vendor management, communication, and organizational skills, plus willingness to travel and work weekends when needed.

Support the planning and execution of trade marketing events, activations, and in‑store campaigns to strengthen brand visibility, drive consumer engagement, and support sales objectives across retail channels.
Plan and execute trade marketing events, roadshows, product launches, brand activations, and in‑store activities from end to end.
Coordinate with internal teams including Trade Marketing, Marketing, Sales/Key Account, Merchandising, and Operations to ensure smooth event execution.
Liaise with external vendors, event agencies, contractors, designers, and suppliers for quotation, production, logistics, and on‑site setup.
Manage event requirements including POSM, booth setup, display materials, promotional items, gifts, sampling products, and event equipment.
Conduct site visits and venue coordination, including checking venue requirements, layout, setup, dismantling, and event logistics.
Prepare event proposals, quotations, timelines, budget breakdowns, and other relevant documentation for approval.
Coordinate event manpower, schedules, product delivery, inventory, and logistics to ensure all materials are ready on time.
Monitor event execution on‑site and troubleshoot operational issues when required.
Work closely with vendors to ensure all deliverables meet quality, branding, timeline, and budget requirements.
Track and manage event expenses, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
Collect event feedback and prepare post‑event reports, including attendance, execution results, costs, and key learnings.
Maintain an updated tracker for events, vendors, quotations, POSM, budgets, and campaign status.
Support other trade marketing campaigns and ad‑hoc projects as assigned.
Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Event Management, Business, or related disciplines.
1–3 years of experience in event management, trade marketing, brand activation, retail marketing, or a related field.
Experience in event planning and on‑ground execution is highly preferred.
Strong vendor management and coordination skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Good organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Willing to travel and work on weekends/public holidays when required for events.
Proactive, hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
