Jora Malaysia is seeking a Marketing & Events Executive to design and run public programmes, exhibitions, pop-ups, workshops and cultural activations from ideation to delivery. You will craft content across social platforms, manage campaigns, and ensure brand consistency.
The role requires a degree in Mass Communications/PR/Marketing with at least 3 years in marketing, strong English and Bahasa Melayu, plus Canva and Adobe Creative Suite skills. Weekend/evening availability is welcome.

This role involves programming and events management, content development, copywriting, social media strategy, and marketing and promotion. You will conceptualise, plan, and execute public programmes and events including exhibitions, pop-ups, workshops, and cultural activations, with end-to-end coordination from ideation to on-ground delivery. You will develop and execute content across all social media platforms, manage marketing campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across all channels.

Coordinate with vendors, artists, partners, and collaborators
Handle event logistics, setup, onsite support and dismantle
Maintain a calendar of upcoming activities and ensure smooth delivery of events
Prepare event documentations and reports
Develop and execute a content calendar across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
Create engaging, high-quality content (photo, video, captions, reels)
Manage postings, monitor engagement, and respond to inquiries/messages in a timely manner
Support in developing and executing marketing campaigns (online and offline)
Track and analyse social media performance metrics, conduct post-campaign analysis, manage budget tracking, and prepare insightful reports
Degree in Mass Communications/Public Relation/Marketing, or any relevant discipline
At least 3 years of marketing experience, with hands-on involvement in PR, content, and campaigns
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Bahasa Melayu; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
Strong presentation and communication skills
Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and public relations
Familiar with digital marketing tools and design platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or during special events as needed
Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
