Job summary

Spring Production & Art Sdn Bhd is a professional event planning and production house with offices in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, expanding to Southeast Asia. We are seeking an Events Coordinator to assist the Event Manager from planning through on-site execution, coordinate sourcing of supplies and manage vendor communications.

The role requires English, Mandarin and Malay language proficiency, and candidates with event management experience will have an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent
• Language skills in English, Mandarin and Malay are required

Responsibilities

• Assist the Event Manager from planning to on-site execution.
• Source and manage event supplies, equipment and rentals.
• Liaise with clients and vendors for quotes, contracts and follow-ups.
• Support setup and teardown logistics for events.
• Oversee décor store organization, inventory, listing and usage tracking for events

Job description

To assist the Event Manager in organizing, coordinate and manage event - from initial planning to on-site execution.

To handle sourcing and managing event supplies, equipment, and rentals.

To liaise with client and vendor communications, quotes, contracts, and follow-ups.

Support setup and teardown logistics, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

Oversee the organization and maintenance of the décor store, including item inventory, listing, and tracking usage for events.

Requirement

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent
• Require Language(s): English, Mandarin & Malay. "We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."
• Candidate with event management skills is an added advantage
