SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Equipment Manager/Supervisor to oversee the safety and maintenance of equipment while leading automation projects and managing a team.

You will ensure equipment reliability, coordinate TPM documentation, and drive improvements across production lines. The role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering with at least five years of equipment management experience and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/automation engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment management.
• Experience managing equipment teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment safety, maintenance and utilization.
• Prepare TPM documents, maintenance plans and spare parts lists.

We are seeking an Equipment Manager/Supervisor to oversee equipment safety, maintenance and automation projects with team management.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsible for managing the equipment department, ensuring the safe operation of equipment, maintaining equipment in good condition, and improving equipment utilization

Responsible for preparing relevant equipment documents, including TPM documents, equipment maintenance plans, spare parts lists, maintenance work instructions, etc., and promoting their implementation

Collaborate on equipment improvement and modification projects according to process and production needs

Participate in the evaluation, introduction, and release of new equipment.

Experience in Equipment Maintenance:

• Leverage extensive experience in maintaining and servicing SMT and motorized automation production line equipment to ensure their optimal functioning.
• Apply expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery in compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or a related engineering field. Equivalent experience may also be considered.

Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment management

Experience in managing equipment teams.
