Job summary

Linktel Technologies is seeking an experienced professional to manage the full lifecycle of manufacturing process equipment in Malaysia. You will standardize training, lead technicians in troubleshooting, and implement efficient maintenance programs to minimise downtime and costs.

The role includes evaluating new equipment, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring calibration documentation compliance with quality standards. Fluency in related software/tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess Vocational Diploma or higher in Electronics & Optics.
• Able to communicate with Headquarters in Wuhan, China.
• Willing to work in dust-free clothing.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Protel and CAD.
• Chinese language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle management of process equipment.
• Standardize and train staff on new manufacturing equipment; create work instructions.
• Lead technicians to troubleshoot and maintain equipment; implement modifications as needed.
• Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance programmes for manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and spare parts availability to minimise downtime.
• Participate in evaluation and selection of new equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost equipment productivity and reduce costs.
• Review calibration datasheets/certificates; manage calibration activities.
• Ensure calibration docs and practices comply with procedures and quality standards.

Responsiblefor company process equipment full cycle management,handlingasset and calibration management.

Standardize and train staff on new manufacturing equipment, including creating working instructions and procedure.

Lead technicians to troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment related problems including modification if requiredto ensure optimal performance.

Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective maintenance programme for manufacturing equipment.

Ensure scheduled maintenance and availability of parts are effectively carried out tominimise equipment downtime and production disruptions. Establish essential spare parts inventory.

Participate in the verification and review of new equipment,get involved to equipment selection.

Initiate continuous improvementworkedto enhance equipment/tester productivity and reduce maintenance cost.

Perform calibration datasheet/ certificate review, andin charge calibration activities.

Ensure all calibration documents and practices are in compliance to applicable procedures and quality standards

REQUIREMENTS :

Able to communicate with Headquarters in Wuhan, China, and all races in Malaysia.

Possess a Vocational Diploma or any higher certification in Electronics & Optics.

Agree to work in dust-free clothing.

Proficiency in using software such as EXCEL, WORD, Protel, and CAD.

Proficiency in Chinese- both spoken and written - will be an added advantage.
