Job summary

Koda Woodcraft Sdn Bhd is seeking an Environmental Officer to ensure compliance with EQA 1974 and DOE regulations, monitor emissions and waste, and manage documentation and regulatory submissions. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in environmental management (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Good knowledge of EQA 1974 and DOE requirements.
• Familiar with scheduled waste and environmental monitoring.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Responsible, independent, and detail-oriented.

• Manage scheduled waste handling, storage, documentation, and disposal.
• Conduct environmental inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring, sampling, and reporting activities.
• Maintain environmental records, permits, and regulatory submissions.
• Investigate environmental incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct environmental awareness training for employees.
• Liaise with DOE and other authorities during inspections and audits.
• Promote waste reduction and sustainability initiatives.
