Monitor and ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA 1974), Department of Environment (DOE) regulations, and other applicable environmental legislation.
Implement and monitor the project's Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and environmental control measures.
Conduct routine environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project environmental requirements.
Monitor environmental aspects including dust, noise, vibration, scheduled waste, water pollution, erosion and sediment control, and air quality.
Manage scheduled waste in accordance with DOE requirements, including proper storage, labelling, inventory, and disposal.
Coordinate with DOE, consultants, contractors, clients, and relevant authorities on environmental matters.
Prepare and submit environmental reports, monitoring records, inspection reports, regulatory documentation, Environmental Management Plan (EMP), erosion and sediment control, pollution prevention, and environmental monitoring.
Investigate environmental incidents, complaints, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Assist during environmental inspections, audits, and regulatory visits conducted by clients or government authorities.
Ensure all environmental permits, licences, and statutory requirements remain valid and compliant.
Support the implementation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System where applicable.
Perform any other duties assigned by superiors as required.

Job Requirements
- Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in environmental management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Must possess knowledge in ISO 14001:2026 Environmental Management Systems (EMS), including implementation, compliance monitoring, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Must possess a valid Certified Environmental Professional in Environmental Operation (CePEOEA) certification recognised by the Department of Environment (DOE).
- Must possess a valid Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM) certification recognised by the Department of Environment (DOE).
- Good knowledge of the Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA 1974), DOE regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and scheduled waste management.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
