Tamasek Group is seeking an Environmental Engineer to manage environmental compliance in our manufacturing/plating environment. The role covers scrubber operation, IETS monitoring, wastewater systems, and scheduled waste handling to ensure regulatory adherence.

The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's environmental compliance, pollution control systems, scheduled waste management, scrubber operation, IETS operation, monitoring, reporting, and related environmental improvement activities in a manufacturing and plating environment.
Monitor and manage environmental control systems, including scrubber systems, IETS, wastewater-related systems, and scheduled waste handling to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Conduct routine inspections, environmental monitoring, operating parameter checks, documentation control, and compliance reporting.
Identify environmental abnormalities, troubleshoot scrubbers or IETS-related issues, and coordinate corrective or preventive actions with relevant departments.
Ensure compliance with environmental procedures, safety standards, scheduled waste requirements, air pollution control requirements, and internal audit expectations.
Work closely with production, maintenance, safety, and management teams to support smooth, safe, and compliant manufacturing operations.
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety & Health, or a related field.
At least one relevant environmental competency certificate, preferably related to Scrubber / Air Pollution Control System, Scheduled Waste Management, Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS), wastewater treatment, or environmental compliance.
Preferred certificates include Scrubber Competent Person certificate, Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management, Certified Environmental Professional in Industrial Effluent Treatment System (CePIETSO / IETS), Certified Environmental Professional in Air Pollution Control System, or other recognized DOE / environmental competency certifications.
Able to handle environmental compliance matters including DOE submission records, scheduled waste records, IETS monitoring records, scrubber operating records, environmental inspection reports, and audit documentation.
Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in manufacturing, plating, chemical process, wastewater treatment, air pollution control, scheduled waste management, environmental compliance, or related industries.
Familiar with environmental monitoring, DOE-related documentation, scrubber operation, IETS operation, scheduled waste handling, inspection checklists, safety procedures, and compliance records.
