Job summary

NTT DATA offers an entry-level engineering role (L1) focused on delivering professional first-line remote and onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients. You will proactively identify and resolve incidents, aiming for zero SLA violations and handling routine tasks per standard procedures.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment. Relevant certifications and a degree in IT or computing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in Data Centre technologies such as Cisco, NetApp, EMC (e.g. CCNA DC).
• Associate level certification in Networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Collaboration certifications such as CCNA Certification required; MS700 & MS720 advantageous; Webex Calling advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provides first-line remote and onsite technical support to clients.
• Performs field engineering services and incident resolution.
• Liaises with client IT environments, carriers and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Maintains incident and change logs and updates progress in the required platform.
• Follows handover procedures to ensure service continuity.
