Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Cross Technology Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) to provide professional first-line remote and onsite technical support. You will manage incidents, perform routine tasks, and follow standard procedures to resolve issues and meet SLA targets.

The role involves configuring client infrastructure, software installations, proactive problem identification, and collaboration with client teams and vendors. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in Data Centre technologies such as Cisco, NetApp, EMC- Ex: CCNA (DC) etc.
• Associate level certification in Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.
• Collaboration certifications such as CCNA Certification; Microsoft Voice certs (MS700 & MS720) advantageous; Webex Calling advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provides first-line remote and onsite technical support to clients.
• Manages standard and low complexity incidents to resolution.
• Liaises with client IT environments, carriers and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Responds to alerts and escalates to L2 when needed.
• Follows handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity.
