Job summary

KNZ Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to support fiber optic telecommunication operations, maintenance and project activities in Malaysia. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with exposure to client coordination and project documentation.

You will report to the Managing Director and work with clients, subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely delivery of works and proper project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Network Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with up to 2 years of telecom/fiber optic/infra projects experience have an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills, with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fiber optic maintenance, operations and project activities.
• Receive and follow up work instructions from Management and clients.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams for execution.
• Monitor progress to meet timelines and client requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and site records.
• Attend site visits, surveys and coordination meetings as required.
• Escalate major technical or commercial issues to Management when needed.
