Job summary
Cloudflare is hiring a Customer Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to be the trusted technical advisor guiding enterprise customers from pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment, and expansion. The CE will work within the GTM organization and report to a Customer Engineering Leader, acting as a quota-carrying technologist to deliver business outcomes.

Qualifications
- Mandarin language required for Greater China region
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role
- Architectural mindset to design enterprise networks and security
- Strong consultative and advisory communication skills
- Commercial mindset with SaaS metrics understanding
- Ability to bridge technical details to C-level business value
- Experience in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments
- Proficiency in multiple technical domains (internet fundamentals, security, performance, AI, coding)
Responsibilities
- Lead technical deep-dive discovery with Account Executives
- Capture business requirements and map to Cloudflare architectures
- Deliver PoCs and technical evaluations with success criteria
- Design migration and onboarding blueprints for customers
- Own discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy
- Monitor customer health scores and telemetry for rapid value
- Drive quarterly business reviews translating capabilities to ROI
- Act as trusted technical advisor across onboarding to renewal
