Job summary

Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad seeks a Service Manager-Engineering (Duty Engineer) to lead engineering teams and ensure continuous operation of all hotel systems. You will coach technicians, prioritize emergency work, and support projects from planning through execution.

Ideal candidates hold a Building Services diploma/certificate or relevant mechanical/electrical/marine engineering qualifications and have experience with an International 5* hotel group.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering.
• Experience with an International 5* Hotel Group preferred.
• Fluent in English (and local language) and able to engage with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and supervise the engineering technicians.
• Ensure all equipment runs smoothly at all times.
• Carry out and prioritise emergency work requests.
• Support engineering projects through planning, supervision and execution.
• Support the audit and training programmes.
