Job summary
Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Manager, Engineering within Supplier Engineering & Technology (SET). You will lead supplier engineering activities, translate business goals into priorities, and drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve manufacturing, quality, and qualification challenges.
You will coach engineers, guide technical decisions, and ensure adherence to engineering documentation, change-control, and product-life-cycle processes while building talent
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering or related technical discipline.
- 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to lead technical work through engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily activities of Supplier Engineers within the SET scope.
- Translate objectives into priorities and work plans; allocate resources to meet schedules.
- Coach and develop engineers; foster ownership and teamwork.
- Provide technical leadership for supplier-related manufacturing, quality, reliability, and product-life-cycle challenges.
- Lead or support supplier assessments, audits, and reviews; drive improvements.
- Ensure proper engineering documentation, product qualification, change-control, and quality-system adherence.
