Lam Research in Malaysia offers a Manager, Engineering role within Supplier Engineering & Technology (SET). You will lead supplier engineers, translate business objectives into team priorities, and drive cross-functional technical alignment to resolve manufacturing, quality, and qualification challenges.

The position emphasizes coaching, development of technical depth, and ownership of supplier-related lifecycle activities, including onboarding, audits, and change-control processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline with 4–6 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated engineering leadership in manufacturing, quality, supplier engineering or related technical environment.
• Ability to lead technical work through engineers and cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the daily activities of Supplier Engineers within the SET scope, with accountability for results and resources.
• Translate objectives into clear team priorities and work plans; allocate resources to meet schedules and commitments.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers; foster ownership, communication, teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership for supplier-related manufacturing, quality, reliability, and product-life-cycle challenges, including NPI and supplier readiness.
• Lead or support supplier qualification, audits, and change-control activities; ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Monitor execution and communicate technical status, risks, and recovery plans to management.
