Job summary

Lam Research in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Training Manager to lead and develop technical training programs across manufacturing operations. You will guide course design, partner with engineering and production teams, and ensure timely onboarding and upskilling of staff.

You will implement global training standards, measure effectiveness with KPIs, manage learning systems, and build a competent workforce to drive operational excellence and NPI readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong technical leadership with program management and organizational skills.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing training and onboarding.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of employee training in operation of company products by planning course design and maintaining documentation.
• Leads development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical training and certification programs.
• Partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to identify training needs and support NPI and ramp-ups.
• Manages training systems, records, and learning metrics for audit readiness and KPIs.
• Ensures learning solutions align with manufacturing priorities and strategy.
