Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead engineering and industrialisation projects from planning through execution. You will drive continuous improvement, standardise processes, and collaborate with Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams to optimize productivity and quality.

You will manage engineering resources, budgets and a team of professionals, while supporting new product introductions and plant expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, production processes and automation.
• Exposure to rubber, plastic, hoses or related industries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and productivity improvement tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
