Job summary

Starway International Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a civil engineering support professional to assist with site operations and project execution, as well as technical drawings and engineering documentation across various projects.

The role involves assisting with authority submissions, tender preparation, BOQ and cost estimation, and coordinating with contractors, consultants and suppliers to monitor progress and maintain site records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, engineering consultancy, site coordination, tendering or project support is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of civil construction, technical drawings, BOQ, quantity take-off, tender documents and cost estimation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Civil 3D or other engineering software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Malaysian authority submission procedures and local construction requirements is an advantage.
• Chinese proficiency is preferred. Good working proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work at different project locations when required.
• Possess own transportation and a valid driving licence.
• Able to work independently, willing to learn, and capable of handling multiple engineering tasks in a project environment.
