Job summary

TRISYSTEMS ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate project execution at our Sendayan headquarters in Negeri Sembilan. You will manage documentation, procurement, testing, and site activities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires collaboration with customers, vendors, and internal teams to meet requirements, timelines, and quality standards. Fresh graduates are welcome, with travel and relocation flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Software/related) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in proposal and costing preparation, preferably in oil & gas.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of programmable systems, PLC panels, and system drawings.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with strong analytical thinking.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to travel as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project execution to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery.
• Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate procurement activities including sourcing, evaluation, and purchasing in line with project specifications, budget, and timeline.
• Prepare, review, and update technical drawings to ensure alignment with project and client requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee FAT to ensure systems meet specifications.
• Monitor project progress, update reports, and support the Project Manager.
• Carry out site activities including installation, commissioning, SAT, and start-up support.
• Maintain effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Share lessons learned and contribute to team development.

This position is only for on-site at our headquarters in Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan so we are looking for a candidate who is living in Sendayan, able to travel to Sendayan or willing to relocate there.

Job Description

The Project Engineer coordinates project execution, technical documentation, procurement, testing, and site activities to ensure successful project delivery. The role works closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to meet project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing

Plan and coordinate project execution to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery

Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle

Coordinate procurement activities including sourcing, evaluation, and purchasing in line with project specifications, budget, and timeline

Prepare, review, and update technical drawings (e.g., cabinet layouts, general arrangements, schematics) to ensure alignment with project and client requirements

Coordinate and oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to ensure systems and equipment meet specifications

Monitor project progress, update reports, and support the Project Manager in ensuring successful delivery

Carry out site activities including installation, commissioning, as-built documentation, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and start-up support

Maintain effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders

Support continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and contributing to team development

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Software / Computer related) or equivalent

1–2 years of experience in proposal and costing preparation, preferably in the oil & gas industry

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!

Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Willing to travel as required
