Job summary

Leighton Asia in Kuala Lumpur invites applications for Engineer (ELV / Extra Low Voltage Systems) to design, develop and integrate ELV systems across building projects in Malaysia. You will coordinate FAS, ACS, Security, ICT, PAVA and lifts with MEP teams and suppliers, review drawings and submittals, and support testing and commissioning.

Job Duties

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of ELV systems.
• Coordinate the design and integration of Fire Alarm System (FAS), Access Control System (ACS), Security Systems, ICT Systems, PAVA Systems, and Lift/Vertical Transportation Systems.
• Coordinate and integrate ELV systems with MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Coordinate design development with local and international consultants, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Review Material Submission Approvals (MSA) and technical submittals.
• Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection activities.
• Support testing, commissioning, system integration, and project handover activities.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ELV design, coordination, or implementation.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, mission-critical, or data centre projects is an added advantage.
• Experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project environments is preferred.
