Leighton Asia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, invites high-calibre candidates for an Engineer (BAMS) role. The position focuses on designing and implementing BAMS architecture and coordinating across MEP and other building systems on major infrastructure projects.

Ideal applicants have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering with 3–5 years of BMS/BAMS experience, plus BIM coordination exposure within complex environments.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BMS/BAMS design, coordination, or implementation.
• Experience in data centre, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities is an added advantage.
• Experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project environments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of BAMS architecture and control systems.
• Review BAMS design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Develop, review, and validate I/O lists for controls and monitoring systems.
• Coordinate integration between BAMS and various building systems including MEP, Fire Protection, Security, and other related systems.
• Review and coordinate communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, MQTT, and TCP/IP.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Coordinate system interfaces and resolve clashes with MEP subcontractors and equipment suppliers.
• Review Material Submission Approvals (MSA) and technical submissions.

Job Duties
