Job summary

Xircle Talent is seeking an ELV Design Manager for end-to-end ELV, Security, and Building Management Systems leadership on data center projects. You will plan, implement, and oversee design, testing, and handover, ensuring quality and standards compliance across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and vendors, leveraging AutoCAD skills and strong English communication to drive technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Automation or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of ELV/Security/BMS project experience.
• Familiarity with ELV, Security or BMS industry standards and advanced technologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement ELV systems including Fiber/Telco, Security and BMS for data centers.
• Manage full lifecycle of ELV, Security and BMS projects from design to handover.
• Establish design, tendering, implementation and delivery standards for ELV/Security/BMS.
• Oversee vendor deliverables, documentation and engineering work to meet quality and schedule.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors and departments to resolve on-site issues.
• Monitor emerging ELV, Security and BMS technologies for potential use in projects.
• Develop technical roadmaps for data center BMS integrating electrical and cooling infrastructure (Optional).
• Explore intelligent data center operations with automated monitoring and customized control (Optional).

Job Summary

The ELV Design Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV), Security, and Building Management Systems (BMS) for data center projects. This role involves system planning, implementation, and technical oversight to ensure quality and adherence to standards across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement ELV systems, including Fiber/Telco, Security, and BMS (BA, EPMS, EMS, SCADA) for data centers.
• Manage the full project lifecycle of ELV, Security, and BMS systems, from design and implementation to handover.
• Establish design, tendering, implementation, and delivery standards (e.g., testing, process, acceptance documentation) for ELV, Security, and BMS systems.
• Oversee vendor deliverables, documentation, and engineering work, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and accuracy standards for data center projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and relevant departments to resolve on-site technical issues.
• Monitor emerging ELV, Security, and BMS technologies and assess their potential application in projects.
• Develop technical roadmaps for data center BMS systems, integrating electrical and cooling infrastructure for standardized designs (Optional).
• Explore and implement intelligent data center operations, focusing on automated monitoring and customized control systems for Electrical and HVAC (Optional).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Information, Communication, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (alternative educational backgrounds considered for candidates with significant BMS experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ELV and Security or BMS system implementation, including managing the full project lifecycle and working with contractors and manufacturers.
• Familiarity with ELV, Security, or BMS system industry standards, regulations, and advanced technologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving skills, initiative, sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
• Preferred:
• Extensive lifecycle management experience for ELV, Security, and BMS systems (including PA, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Card Access, Structured Cabling) in large-scale data center or high-precision factory projects.
• Strong management experience in data center equipment and facility design and delivery.
• Familiarity with technical principles of mainstream ELV, Security, and BMS systems, with hands-on commissioning experience for at least one product.
• Experience with international projects.
• Understanding of large-scale electrical and cooling infrastructure.
• Experience in ELV, Security, and BMS system test management and test plan development.
• Familiarity with control and operation logic of mainstream cooling and air conditioning systems.
