Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Production Engineer to monitor and support daily production activities, ensuring targets, quality and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and other departments, develop process improvements, support NPI, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily production activities to achieve production targets, quality and delivery schedules.
• Identify and resolve production, process and machine-related issues to minimize downtime and production delays.
• Analyze production data, process performance and downtime to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement process improvements, productivity improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities from initial product introduction through to mass production.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality and other departments to ensure smooth NPI implementation.
• Develop and review process flow, work instructions, tooling, equipment and production requirements for new products.
• Support trial runs, sample builds and process validation, and resolve issues before mass production.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality, safety and company requirements.
• Investigate production defects and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and maintain production, NPI, process and improvement documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Production Operators and Supervisors.
• Lead or support continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency projects.
• Perform other engineering and production-related duties as assigned by Management.
