Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a precast shop drawing coordinator to prepare, review, and coordinate precast drawings based on approved structural and architectural plans. You will assist in detailing, reinforcement, and fabrication requirements, and liaise with consultants to resolve technical issues.

You will raise RFIs, review comments, and ensure revisions are incorporated, while supporting production on technical precast matters and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in precast or construction preferred.
• Able to read and perform basic editing in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of precast components, reinforcement, and installation methods.

Prepare, review, and coordinate precast shop drawings based on approved structural and architectural drawings.

Coordinate with consultants, architects, and project teams to resolve technical and drawing issues.

Liaise with Production and Site Teams to ensure constructability and installation feasibility.

Support production on technical matters related to precast fabrication and installation.

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and relevant standards.

Assist in shop drawing submission, revision, and approval tracking.

Conduct site visits when required to resolve technical issues.

Support QAQC in addressing non-conformance and quality issues.

Maintain proper documentation of drawings, RFIs, and revisions.

Able to review and make minor AutoCAD edits for coordination purposes.

Ensure all changes are properly communicated to the drafting team.

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in precast or construction industry preferred.
• Able to read and perform basic editing in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of precast components, reinforcement, and installation methods.
• Familiar with relevant construction standards (MS/Eurocode).
• Proficient in AutoCAD; other software is an advantage.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to travel to site when required.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
