Job summary

NTT DATA Services in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an IT Support Engineer (Desktop/End-User Support) to join our team in Malaysia. You will respond to client requests, travel to client sites or connect remotely, and resolve hardware and software issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT and 2–4 years of desktop support experience, with strong hardware knowledge, operating systems expertise, and good communication skills. Travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
2–4 years of desktop support experience.
Strong hardware knowledge and peripherals expertise.
Able to travel and work after hours when needed.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Responding to client support requests and identifying the nature of the problem.
Traveling to the client’s location or connecting via remote link.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Installing and maintaining hardware and peripherals.
Installing and upgrading operating systems and software.
Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
Providing basic training in computer operation and management.
Completing job reports and ordering supplies.
