HFG Insurance Recruitment seeks an experienced Process Improvement & End User Automation Manager/Senior Manager to lead transformation within a Finance Shared Services environment. You will drive digital transformation, productivity, standardisation and data-driven decisions in partnership with Finance, Technology and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, automation, process improvement, digital transformation, finance transformation or shared services.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, transformation portfolios and/or enterprise-scale automation initiatives.
• Proven experience defining strategy, managing roadmaps and delivering measurable transformation outcomes.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Alteryx and/or similar enterprise automation platforms.
• Strong experience in Power BI, SQL, data modelling and advanced Excel.
• Experience implementing process improvement initiatives with measurable business benefits.
• Strong senior stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience in finance transformation, shared services, insurance, banking, healthcare or large enterprise environments is advantageous.
• Experience with AI-enabled/intelligent automation, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Agentic AI, LLMs or AI workflow orchestration is advantageous.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, control standards, operating models and benefits-tracking mechanisms is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the process improvement, analytics, automation and intelligent automation roadmap.
• Manage the transformation portfolio, including demand intake, prioritisation, business cases, delivery governance and benefits tracking.
• Identify high-value opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency, controls, scalability and user experience.
• Track and communicate value realisation, including FTE capacity release, cycle-time reduction, cost avoidance, quality improvement and risk reduction.
• Lead the development of data analytics and business intelligence solutions supporting business and operational decision-making.
• Design and implement automated data preparation, cleansing, transformation and validation workflows using Alteryx and related analytics tools.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards and management reporting using Power BI and other visualisation platforms.
• Establish appropriate data quality, reporting and governance standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and related methodologies.
• Facilitate process mapping and identify bottlenecks, failure points and inefficiencies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop sustainable improvement solutions.
• Establish KPIs, process performance measures and benefits-tracking mechanisms.
• Drive simplification, standardisation and harmonisation of processes.
• Evaluate, pilot and deploy Agentic AI and intelligent automation use cases.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI to Finance and shared services processes.
• Establish appropriate governance, controls, security and responsible AI practices.
• Partner with Technology and business stakeholders to scale successful AI solutions.
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior Finance, Technology, Risk and business stakeholders.
• Manage transformation demand, priorities, delivery pipelines and competing requirements.
• Present strategic recommendations, portfolio updates, risks, investment options and value realisation to senior management.
• Facilitate alignment across business, technology, risk and governance teams.
• Establish governance standards for end-user-developed automation and analytics solutions.
• Ensure solutions comply with organisational policies, security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement appropriate controls, documentation, audit trails and operational support procedures.
• Conduct solution health checks and periodic reviews to ensure sustainability.
• Lead, coach and develop automation developers, analysts, process improvement specialists and citizen developers.
• Establish delivery methodologies, solution design standards, QA practices and operating models.
• Drive capability building through training, coaching and communities of practice.
• Lead change enablement, stakeholder readiness, adoption and post-implementation sustainability.
