Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Solutions Engineer/Manager to design end-to-end bespoke logistics solutions and lead complex bids. The role includes supporting customer engagement via workshops and technical proposals, plus creating regional design standards and tools.

The incumbent will coordinate with Sales, Project Management and Business Development to ensure feasible, costed solutions across multiple countries, adapting to local constraints.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Comfortable with data analysis and a customer-facing role.
• Advanced in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project.
• Advanced in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new customers, via RFQ, site visits and presentations.
• Analyse customer requirements and support Q&A sessions.
• Design and propose warehousing solutions according to customer needs.
• Evaluate resources, MHE, investments, EDI, automation and innovation opportunities.
• Provide cost analysis and rates using cost model.
• Build RFQ technical proposals and present the solution to customer.
• Work with Project Management for handover after award.
• Assist in solutions adjustments during project implementation.
