Job summary

Foong Yen Capital Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable financing officer to manage cases end-to-end, from application to closure. You will review client documents, prepare terms and repayment schedules, and liaise with clients, lawyers and secretaries to ensure smooth disbursement.

The role requires 2–3 years in financing or banking, strong coordination and communication skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel. English and Mandarin are a plus, with attention to detail and independent work style.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in financing, banking, credit, loan operations, collections or related industries.
• Experience in secured financing, loan documentation and credit control is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication and follow-up skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases independently.
• Responsible, proactive and comfortable dealing directly with clients and external parties.
• Good command of English and Mandarin are an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage financing cases end-to-end, from application and assessment to disbursement, repayment and case closure.
• Review client, financial, corporate and security documents for financing assessment.
• Prepare case summaries, financing terms, repayment schedules and relevant documentation.
• Liaise with clients, lawyers, valuers, company secretaries and other relevant parties.
• Coordinate facility documentation, signing, stamping, security requirements and disbursement.
• Monitor monthly repayments, outstanding amounts and payment due dates.
• Follow up with clients on upcoming, overdue or outstanding payments.
• Prepare payment reminders, outstanding reports and collection updates.
• Coordinate recovery and legal action for overdue/default cases when required.
• Maintain proper case records and ensure all matters are followed through to completion.
