Job summary

AMD's Human Resources team in Malaysia is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead complex investigations, advise leaders on Labor laws across APJ regions, and drive improvements to ER processes. You will partner with Legal, HR Ops, and regional teams to ensure fair, compliant outcomes.

The role emphasizes emotional intelligence, analytical rigor, and proactive communication while safeguarding confidentiality and building strong relationships with stakeholders across Southeast Asia,

Qualifications

• Experience leading investigations and advising on SE Asia ER matters.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws across SE Asia, Australia and Japan.
• Excellent case documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations with confidentiality, neutrality, and fairness.
• Provide strategic ER guidance to leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Ensure compliance with local laws; act as APJ SPOC for ER advice.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR Ops, TA, and Govt Relations on ER issues.
• Develop metrics and analytics to track ER program effectiveness.
