Job summary

SEEK is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to join our APAC team, with a strong focus on Malaysia. This hands‑on role provides expert ER advisory to HRBPs, manages complex and high‑risk cases, and supports policy, compliance and governance across Asia.

Reporting to the ER and Policy Lead in Melbourne, you will conduct investigations, deliver clear findings and risk‑based recommendations, and work with external legal partners to uphold SEEK’s standards and drive continuous

• Proven employee relations expertise across corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation across Asian markets.
• Adaptable and pragmatic to SEEK’s context and risk profile.
• Hands-on delivery capability including end-to-end case management.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to build trust across diverse cultures and seniority levels.
• Willingness to travel within APAC region and to Melbourne occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert ER advice and hands-on support to the HRBP team.
• Prevent and resolve workplace conflicts affecting relationships.
• Manage complex, high-risk cases with fair, empathetic handling.
• Conduct end-to-end investigations with clear findings and recommendations.
• Engage with external legal partners to ensure high-quality support.
• Represent SEEK in external forums as required.
• Collaborate on strategic workforce or organisational change initiatives.
