Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Cost Manager to support cost management for data centre and mission-critical projects. You will assist pre-contract and post-contract activities, working with senior team members, clients and contractors across CSA or MEP packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant discipline as listed (QS, cost/construction management, civil/mechanical/electrical).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost management or commercial management.
• Professional accreditation such as MRICS or RICS is advantageous.
• Experience with data centres, semiconductor facilities, industrial projects or large-scale developments is beneficial.
• Experience supporting CSA or MEP packages within projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-contract and post-contract cost management activities across project lifecycle.
• Support cost planning, budgets, benchmarking, value engineering, and tender documentation.
• Review design information for cost implications and risks; monitor budgets and cost performance.
• Support tender evaluations, commercial assessments, and bid analysis; provide cost comparisons.
• Maintain project records and commercial documentation; support final accounts and close-out activities.
• Engage with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams to deliver high-quality cost management services.
