Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring an embedded software engineer to design, develop, and enhance two-way radio software. You will participate in the full SDLC and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust feature integration.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, embedded systems experience, and familiarity with RTOS and microcontrollers. Onsite work in Bayan Lepas, Penang is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2–5 years of software development experience preferred; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) knowledge.
• Understanding of microcontroller operation in embedded systems.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded software development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance software features for two-way radios.
• Participate in the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with front-end, hardware, and test teams to ensure integration.
