Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a fresh graduate embedded software engineer. You will contribute to design, develop, and enhance software features for two-way radios, participate in the full SDLC, and work with hardware and test teams.

You will write clean C/C++ code for embedded systems, perform design reviews, develop tests, and debug issues. Strong fundamentals in CS/EE and OOP, plus RTOS and Agile experience, are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering or Computer Science required.
Strong C/C++ programming and understanding of OOP.
Experience with embedded microcontrollers and RTOS.
LTE/DMR knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance software features for two-way radios.
Participate in the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
Write clean, tested C/C++ code for embedded systems.
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality.
Develop unit, integration, and system tests.
Debug and troubleshoot embedded software issues.
Collaborate with front-end, hardware, test engineers, and other stakeholders.
Deliver projects on time and within budget.
