Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an on-site Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance embedded C/C++ features for two-way radios, and to participate in the full SDLC from requirements to testing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, 2–5 years of software experience, solid C/C++, OOP, RTOS, and hands-on embedded debugging in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with RTOS and embedded debugging.
• Understanding of hardware–software integration and SDLC.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or CS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance embedded software features for two-way radios.
• Participate in the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with front-end, hardware, and test teams for integration.
• Write clean, well-documented C/C++ code and conduct reviews.
• Contribute to unit/integration tests and debugging.
